I've been doing restorations for 40 years, and have always wanted to get into more metal shaping and coach building. My son joined me in January, and now we are going full bore. Since January we have purchased a P-7 Pullmax with lots of tooling, a new Magna Bender, a 52" Pexto shear, upgraded from an 18" to a 42" English wheel & an electric bead roller, a 16" Do-All band saw, and upgraded to a deep throat shrinker stretcher. I also bought a 9" South Bend lathe to make tooling.
My son Brian has attended Wray Shelins metal shaping class, and will be attending Baleighs class in Sept. I'm also considering sending him to Faye Butlers class, as he is into machine shaping more so than Wray.
We plan to be Florida best.
