Hello. I'm George Bear. I've been working with metal for the past forty years. Mainly fabrication and machining.
I've recently taken an interest in building armour and realised how much more I have to learn. I enjoy working with metal and hope you folks can help and encourage me.

Welcome to the group. You are tapping into a great resource. I am from Minneapolis, MN , home to a company Arms and Armor. https://www.arms-n-armor.com/ Christopher Poor started the firm in 1982 and it still thrives today. Having visited their shop many times over the last 25 years, I can say their is perfection. They have electric lighting but that's about as far as technology has spread there. Tons of hammers, anvils, snips and forms. Their catalog is beautiful.
