Jim, from Massachusetts. I've worked with metals all of my adult life. I've worked as a welder, a machinist, a toolmaker, manufacturing engineer and a machine designer. Now I'm semi-retired and determined to restore my GTO.
Although I've worked with metals for years, I have little experience with sheet metal. It appears to me that fabricating parts using only hand tools is as much an art as a technical skill. I'm hoping to learn tools, techniques and insights into the art of metal shaping. Jim

You sound like your wanting to do the same thing as me, except I don't have a car to work on. I've signed up for one of the local classes this fall in hopes I'll get started.
