Thumbs up Sqyre from Oz

After 20 years the kids are old enough to look after themselves so i have returned to the car restoration scene.
I have worked in the Metal industry for 25 years mostly operating Tube Mills which has given me plenty of steel to fabricate all sorts over the years. Even built my house out of RHS.

I'm looking to learn a bit about Panel beating and sheet metal forming by hand as i have just picked up a Ford F100 that needs some serious re-construction of the roof and a bit of work to the panels.

I've also dabbled a little in wrought iron work which i hope to do some more of in the future.

its a 1977 2WD i knew when i bought it the roof needed some attention but it wasn't until i wire wheeled the bog back that i found the the roof had rusted out all the way around the top of the doors and front windscreen.
It had been patched with metal plates but had up to half an inch of bog in places to bring it back level.

The F100 has a huge open space on the internal skin of the roof so i'm toying with reinforcing the roof all the way around creating a massive sunroof.

How do you post pics on this forum? Can you upload from a Harddrive or do they have to be online already??
