The museum is truly a neat place and new items are added all the time. The shop is in the same building. If you take a look at the June 2013 Hot Rod magazine the cover car is a kit car from Speedway. My son Lucas fabricated the frame and other parts for that very same car.

Default Speedway motors

Hi Jim.

Back in 2010 my son and I stopped at speedway for the tour of the museum.
I was pleased to see the Lotus with the Flat Crank Plymouth in it that I Worked on in 1969 & 70. I was Sam Poseys Mechanic working for STP at the time. They asked me if I would step out of line and the head of their fab shop took me on a tour of their machine shop and fab shop. They put me on their list of contacts for when they need specialty fabrication. Hope your son has a long and successful career with Speedway.
