Chuck, I have the impression that you built the coupe in pretty much of a vacuum metalshaping wise. I know you had access to some of the original cars but how did you learn now to shape the aluminum? I don't recall you saying in the original write up.

Is the build documented anywhere these days?

Kerry,

Not exactly a vacuum, but certainly not because it was my profession. I did attend a class given by Ron Covell and spent some time with Kent White (The Tinman). I also watched every available video on the subject. However, most of the learning was by trial and error.

I haven't updated my website for quite a while, but it is one of the tasks that will get some time in retirement. My original site was on the AOL server, but when AOL pulled the plug on that aspect of their business, it took me a while to find another host. Presently my web site is at the following:

I just has a quick look at your website. That was a big undertaking!. I am impressed not only by your determination but also by the result you got. I will read more when I get some time. I like the buck you built, it has all the info you needed without being over complicated.
