Welcome Matthias you are on the right place. I'm not surprised that the parts in only are just being replaced today. The quality of work and prices is different. Here are the real ways to a good result.

Thank you for the warm welcome,
I live near Heilbronn, which is between Stuttgart and Heidelberg. I think the shops got rid of their metalshaping equipment years ago, so it seems quite difficult, to get good old machines. My number one on my wish list would be one of those old english wheels with a cast irom frame....
