Default All the way from Wales

Hi folks

I am totally new to this metal business. I have completed one car project which was a GRP bodied V6 MX5(Miata/Roadster thing). I was looking to build a space frame and put an alum version of my GRP body onto it.

However, I am now looking to strip the body off of a BMW Z4 and put a replica DB4GT Zagato body onto that chassis for a perfect blend of old and new.

3d printing all the panels in metal would be the nirvana but I guess that good old fashion english wheeling will come into it in real life.

As I said, I am totally new, with ridiculous ambitions, little knowledge and a great line in inane questions. You have been warned
