Ludington is on Lake Michigan. I am 10 miles from Lake Huron. I would guess 3.5 - 4 hours to Ludington. 3 hrs to Traverse City. I took the car ferry a few years ago. Seems like it was about 3 hours. If you check the ferry web site it will give you departure and arrival times. Phil
