It's indeed rare! I searched nearly 1,5 years to find that 99% complete one. The 2-doors '69's are my favourite! It's still a lot of work to do, but someday it will be a great car!

I love the early mark III too but would prefer a 4-door convertible, because of the suicide doors

Did you ever find a welder? I know you've been busy with other aspects of the car but I hadn't seen here or over on FCBO if you settled on one.
