Another Hello from the UK

Hi everyone,

I'm John, age 56 from Southport which is a seaside resort in the North West of the UK.
I have been heavily involved in all things mechanical and especially Automotive for ever. I used to build custom cars for my self and others, went from that into Drag racing mostly cars but also some bikes. For a while I ran a recovery business and general garage.
I have also had more than a few boats, almost all power boats (what other kind are there). And done some offshore racing.
My home workshop is pretty well equipped with Lathe, Vertical mill, benders, rolls etc I can fabricate most anything I need or want including some tooling and machinery.
Don't know if I will be posting much to begin with. Just having a look around and getting used to the forum. But always happy to answer questions and share ideas.
