Hello
My name is Doug and I'm from Bastrop, TX near Austin. I took the "organic sheetmetal" class at Techshop in Round Rock and fell in love with the art. I've made 5 or 6 aluminum bowls since then and have some other ideas I want to do.
Techshop has some good tools but they are shared, so they aren't always in the best condition. I have some HFT equipment in my garage so I can work on a project whenever I want. I'm a CAD designer mainly working on sheet metal framework and machined parts. I also teach Autodesk Inventor classes at Techshop.
