| Greetings from Nebraska

Best Regards from Blair, Ne. I have been involved with old cars, bicycles and motorbikes for many years and also have a son that works in the shop Americas oldest speed shop, Speedway Motors. Although not as talented as my son I still love the art of metal crafting and keep working at new projects. Thanks to all for sharing their experiences with art and craft of metalshaping. Jim |

The museum is truly a neat place and new items are added all the time. The shop is in the same building. If you take a look at the June 2013 Hot Rod magazine the cover car is a kit car from Speedway. My son Lucas fabricated the frame and other parts for that very same car.

Hi Jim. Back in 2010 my son and I stopped at speedway for the tour of the museum. I was pleased to see the Lotus with the Flat Crank Plymouth in it that I Worked on in 1969 & 70. I was Sam Poseys Mechanic working for STP at the time. They asked me if I would step out of line and the head of their fab shop took me on a tour of their machine shop and fab shop. They put me on their list of contacts for when they need specialty fabrication. Hope your son has a long and successful career with Speedway.
