Hi there everyone!
Matthew checking in from Liberty Hill, TX.
I've always had a passion for vintage automobiles. Growing up in northwestern PA, I realized to replace all the rust on the old cars I loved, I would have to learn to master the art of shaping sheet metal. I've been shaping since the mid-90's in one form or another. I've taught at a technical institute, worked at different hot rod shops across the country, free-lanced, etc. and have owned a customs, hot rods, and restoration shop for a total of 14 years.
The older I get, the more I realize how much I don't know. Although I don't spend much time on the computer, I thought it was time to finally join your community, expand my knowledge and offer what I do know to others.
Also, I recently was fortunate enough to acquire an Edwards E Type wheel (which needs a little work) and would love to pick the brain of some of the master metal shapers out there.
Happy shaping,
Matthew
