New guy from Canuckville

Hello all,
Thanks for letting me join. I'm Ted Allan and I live in Standard, Alberta. i've been building hot rods all my life so i've learned some of the simple metal working talents but i've always thought i wanted to learn more about moving metal. in my business of building cars I was always hiring people or contracting out to have the work done for the sake of getting the job done.

Now that I'm semi retired, I want to do it myself. I'm in the process of starting on a 34 Ford 5 window that I will be building in a 50s Bonneville theme (chopped hard, track nose, filled roof). I want to do all the work myself. This forum has popped up from time to time as a good source of information so here I am.

I hope i don't bore you with the same old questions and maybe I can answer a few.
