Default Hi, I'm in the South Pacific, NZ

Hi, I'm Clay, live close to Wellington which is the capital of New Zealand. I've been a car guy for a long long time. I originally trained in engineering at General Motors. Yes we used to build cars down here, Fords, Chevys, Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth, Rambler, plus Australian Holdens and cars from the UK, Jag, Austin, Morris. Also some European stuff as well.

Naturally I'm a Chevy guy but have owned cars from most of the others. Got a 54 Chevy pickup and a 2002 Corvette. The pickup was a daily driver but now needs panel work. Some amateur panel beater repaired it in the past and needs to be done properly this time.

I've built my own English Wheel, a small reciprocating hammer and some other gear. I have very basic experience forming panels and look forward to the day when I build a complete new body of my own design.

My main problem is finding time to do stuff. Hope to pick some brains from around here. Anyone local to me is welcome to use my equipment, I'm happy to share.
