Default Matt from Canada

Hey to whoever reads these. My name is Matt and i am from Canada as the title reads. I currently cut forests down for a living. It is an honest job and i do enjoy it. I use a chainsaw and yes cut down old growth trees (the big ones). I work in a camp so i get a week off at a time. While I am in camp I source out information for my project. My shop project is a 1983 toyota land cruiser and outfitting my shop. The land cruiser has lots of rust spots in weird places requiring metal shaping. Making it for my honey and I (and our new one on the way) to adventure out. My metal shaping is very limited in scope, basically a hammer and a chunk of a railway track. I was reading a forum from MP&C (different forums) and he kindly said you guys helped him along with knowledge and techniques. So i am following his guidance. I have been reading forums for a long time and have joined a couple. This is my second post i have ever written. I only post after searching a forum and determining that my specific question has not been answered which has only happened once. Plus I am long winded and am no master to be answering (and i haven't seen a forum on tree falling). I am not on any social media but do enjoy getting lost on youtube from time to time. I am a Preacher of the Gospel, but not online. Yep an apologetic Christian. i look forward to learning from the old timers and i mean that in the highest respects.
