Learning how to bend sheet steel
Hi everybody! I'm Dave Pearson in Northampton, England. I started welding sculpture last year to help me switch off from the trauma of Mum slowly dying of cancer. I used washers because they were small and bendable (with a vice and hammer) and made it easy to get the shape I wanted. Now I want to sculpt with sheet steel too, so learning how to heat, hammer, slit and weld various shapes will be invaluable for me. Thanks in advance for sharing your skills with me!

Welcome to the forum, Dave.
I have a neighbor here in South Carolina who lives on the other side of two large fields. His name is David Pearson. He was a race car driver, not a sculptor.
