Hello fellow metal artists.
My name is Ryan Underwood, I live and work in the Bemidji MN area. I am the restoration shop manager for Aircorps Aviation, we restore WW2 aircraft. Because of the age of the aircraft we work on, we have to make a lot of parts from scratch. I love working with aluminum so I fit right in! I am a perfectionist and there isn't a day that goes by that the aluminum does not humble me. There is always something to learn. I am lucky to have some very experienced employers to teach this young dog some old tricks. And I am hoping to learn some more here. Sometimes they make me do wiring as well. ![]()

Hi Ryan and Welcome.
![]() The wiring in that cockpit looks like a friend of mines dashboard, he rewired his car from cable he acquired from the defense dept, Where he was an Aviation Tech, It was all white, you needed a little machine that could read the code along the wire so you knew where everything was hooked to. We used to laugh, cause the car he had was E39 Charger and we used to say who would want to steal that, Different story nowadays, it would be a 70k+ car. Cheers John
