I'm Tyler, in south city STL. I'm a recent transplant from Kentucky and I'm hoping this site might lead me to some connections in the local metalworking community as well as expanding my horizons a bit into metalshaping methods I'm not familiar with. A little about me: My first interest in metalworking was blacksmithing and sheet metal work. In college I was trained as a bench jeweler and really expanded my interest in non-ferrous metals. As a mechanical engineering physics student I learned the fundamentals of machine shop processes and began the process of learning various sorts of welding. I now split time as a fabricator/weldor and a manufacturing engineer. I'm interested in every sort of metalsmithing process and I never met a tool I didn't like!
