Opening a separate topic sounds a good idea.
I wouldnt want anyone to go to a lot of extra work - I am not familiar with what might be required.
I understand the confidentiality thing - one idiot messes it up for everybody else.
A little bit the way of the world!
I cant imagine too many people feeling too threatened by a "Location" forum.
So long as idiot scammers cant access the contact info.
A simple list, only contactable through the private message facility on the forum, might be practical?
It would be easier to contact "locals", no matter which country.
The forum and the US side of things seem really well established which has been brilliant for the rest of us, less experienced (Mr Gardiner and a few others excepted) enthusiasts.
90% of my knowledge, still not a lot, has directly or indirectly come via the various metalwork forums for which I am very grateful.
