I haven't had sufficient time to browse all of the forums but I have been blown away just by the "Automotive Projects" section, so I am certain there is a great deal to see and learn in other areas as well. I have scratch built a couple metal bodies (pics below) but my methods and my tools are far more crude than what I am seeing here on All Metal Shaping. As I noted in my OP, I still consider myself an amateur in spite of the cars I have completed. There is always much more to learn and much better ways of doing things.

I built this roadster back in 2004-2005.



And here are a coupe shots of it during fabrication.





More recently I fabricated this Sedan/Delivery/Pickup. I used the same "skeleton and skin" building technique as I did with the roadster.
