Welcome to the site, looking around these sites you may get the impression that you have to spend a small fortune on machines before you can make anything. That is not the case, you can get started with just a couple of hammers and dollys and a few simple home made tools. working with aluminium (UK spelling) is no problem but you really need to gas weld it because tig welds may crack when you dress them out.
