Default Greetings from Clarkesville, GA

Good afternoon,

Brenton Ellis here, hailing from Clarkesville, GA. I'm currently repairing a 1947 Luscombe 8E under A&P supervision, which involves some basic flat-sheet part replacement, riveting, and powerplant overhaul. Part of the project will involve straightening and repairing the wing tips and cowling, which aren't flat by any stretch of the imagination. I imagine that the learning curve there will be pretty steep.

I have worked for the past 13 years at Quest Aircraft Company (Sandpoint, ID) designing aircraft structures, and am finally starting to get my hands dirty actually working on them.

I have some previous experience in college with welding/brazing/riveting/fabrication, but most of my experience is theoretical rather than practical. In other words, I can design structures but need someone else to make them for me. Working on changing that, and looking forward to developing my fabrication skill set in the near future.

Brenton
