Welcome to the forum, David.

When I was a kid, the Wind Harp was erected in my hometown of Chelsea VT. http://rootstrata.com/rootblog/?p=987 on Warren Mattoon's farm. Not sure if this is the one Kent mentioned or not.

The Wind Harp was perfectly viewed through our living room picture window, centered atop the highest ridge. We anticipated the weather for the day by whether or not we could see the Wind Harp or not. It attracted a lot of people, including good hippies that and slobs/bad hippies that trashed the property around it. We bought that album linked above, still have it somewhere in the pile of stuff.

When ithe Wind Harp blew over around '75(?) he decided not allow it to be repaired. It was eventually over to another location, I think in Maine at first, to be erected.

In 78, we rented his farm for our Jersey dairy operation before moving to a larger place. There was still lots of trash & debris up where the wind harp had been that was left behind by all those peace, love & dope slobs. Never knew the Wind Harp was "famous" until years later. As a kid, it was just the Wind Harp...

Good luck with your similar ventures. Keep us posted.
