Welcome to the forum, from a fellow brummie:)
On my travels foraging for classic car parts, I came across a farmer who had a few classic cars, he showed me into one of his barns, he had a very nice Lotus. As I was looking around the barn, I happened to notice what looked like a fuselage, not just any fuselage, but the ultimate big boys toy.... a Spitfire!!!
I couldn't get my breath, scratch built, blew me away!!
Any way, plenty learn here, dig in.

Would like to hear more about the spitfire that you saw, can you remember the owners name?
