new to the whole posting internet thing so I'm just going to wing it. Lots of interesting folks here with interests similar to mine ( auto metal fab ). No fancy tools in my shop yet, just hammers, bags, and welders. Thank you to all who post, I learn a lot from you and I'll try to pass on my experiences for what they're worth.

Welcome to the site Dan. You don't need fancy machines to get started, there is plenty that can be achived by hand, in fact almost anything cans be made using only hand tools.

I've been reading posts from all of you and have learned much. Your examples and explanations have encouraged me to try new projects ( some successfully and others still on going). I have Davids DVD and refer to it often when I cannot make the metal go my way. Good to hear from you all.
