Hi from Scotland
I have been interested in building Riley Specials for a number of years. I have built three and am on my fourth. They are two seater ally bodies. I have experience of metalshaping but am keen to learn more. Your site was recommended to me by a local fella who is a very keen member. (redoxide I think) So far I am very impressed.
Cheers, Jim |
Welcome Jim, Got any photos of your specials?

Some pics of my Riley Special builds

Hi, thanks for the welcome. I will try to post a couple of pics of each of the Rileys. They are built on Prewar Riley chassis and have all prewar running gear and mechanicals. As such they qualify for Vintage racing in UK.
The first one I built is the grey 1.5 litre KSJ 818 and there are quite a number of flat panels. The second is the 2.5 litre competition car I built for a friend. The third is the pointed tail unpainted one which has the 9hp under 1000cc engine. Hope you like them! http://www.allmetalshaping.com/attac...8&d=1293054602 http://www.allmetalshaping.com/attac...9&d=1293054602 http://www.allmetalshaping.com/attac...0&d=1293054602 http://www.allmetalshaping.com/attac...1&d=1293054602 http://www.allmetalshaping.com/attac...2&d=1293054602 http://www.allmetalshaping.com/attac...3&d=1293054602 Cheers Jim |
