Hello from Ontario
Joined this site after seeing a link on AgTalk.
I am a part time farmer but am really the only one on the farm that can weld now. Dad used to do it but he's got some vision issues as of late. I get but with the Princess Auto Mig welder and old stick welder we have. Would like to get a better Mig welder as the one I have now surges the wire every once and a while. Did some welding back in highschool in shop class but never really went farther than that. Grandpa always did the welding in the farm so never really got a chance to do it. Basically going to use this site as a bit of a teaching aid, and to look for awesome projects to build for the shop. We have a bunch of random steel laying around to do something with. :) |

Hello Ian and welcome to the site.
You might want to put a new liner in your MIG. Jere |
Hello from Ontario
Welcome Ian.
With your welding problem you might check that the liner doesn't have a crimp in it. The cable should not have any tight bends, just gradual ones. Hope this helps you. |
