Hi
I was led here from The Garage Journal. I'm building a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback from the ground up starting with a new Dynacorn steel body. I'm modifying it to include a Ford Coyote 5.0 engine; Tremec T-56 six-speed transmission; Heidts Pro G independent front suspension; and the Heidts Pro G independent rear suspension. I thought I'd be limiting myself to simple fabrication of a bracket here and there but that is not to be. In order to get the engine to set at the correct angle I had to cut out the top of the transmission tunnel. Therefore I get to "shape" a new transmission tunnel. There may be other shaping opportunities as I may try to install a modern fuel door in the left rear quarter panel. :)

Hi Britt welcome to the forum ..... that will be a nice build :D
Wish we could do that here in OZ :D But here in Australia we can not use or register those complete new bodies:eek: We can only use bolt on panels from them just a stupid law!! Peter |
