New in Alaska

Hi, my name is Glenn.I' m an aircraft mechanic (A&P) and spend my summers working in Alaska and winter in North Carolina.I've been an A&P for about 40 yrs ,38 of them specializing in sheetmetal/structural repair. Most of the work I do is flat work, very little shaping, although I have taken courses in same. Would love to build a set of wheel pants for a Ryan sportster or some such. Anyway I've found that aircraft owners are very reluctant to shell out the bucks for this work.I found this site of metal working fans and know this will enrich my knowledge of the craft. Thanks for being here ,good to meet you.
