Hi, I'm Colin Connaughton, and I live at Avalon Beach, a suburb of Sydney, Australia.

My particular metal shaping interest is the superleggera construction technique used by Italian coachbuilders in the 1950's and 60's, but a more immediate concern is looking after my regrettably rusty 1974 Fiat 130 Coupe, plus a couple of Alfa Romeos. I'm a retired engineer/computer software designer, and I've just started a course in automotive panel shaping and repair.
