Metal work from NZ
Dave Sharp.
Have been engineering all my career. Apprentice fitter and turner. Twelve years merchant navy engineer. Ashore mainly involved in maintenance work, but for the last fifteen years have been cad draughting as well. Now have my own light engineering workshop, lathes, mill, various welders etc. and work on whatever turns up. Hobby project is a 1966 MGB roadster which I have been doing for far too long. Completed rebuild of body. Fitted 3.5 rover v8 through a 5 speed borg warner gearbox to four link rear with coil overs. Also have built a few panel beating machines, planishers, rolls, beader, english wheel etc. Find that exchange of ideas with other like minded people revs up the creative juices and makes the jobs more satisfying. |
Welcome to the forum Dave. Sounds like you have a great set up.

hi Dave
Hi Dave,
Glad your on. Its good to have an engineer who understands the gear and cars. Dave made an original style Ranalah cradle for my wheel this weeks and is working on some drawings as well. Very handy guy. |
