Hello from Alan Bottomley This is Alan Bottomley from Tasmania, Australia. I have been invited to join this forum by John Alden ("Overkill"). I have enjoyed a little bit of fame as the inventor of the Magnabend electromatic sheetmetal bending machine. Obviously I have a keen interest in metalforming and thus am looking forward to joining this forum.:) |

 Hi Alan and welcome! |

Welcome Alan. I've read that you've made the plans for the machine available. |

Welcome Alan has informed me that there are differences between the Roper Whitney Magnabend and his E type magnetic brakes. I'm hoping to have a discussion about the difference, and the capabilities of magnetic brakes as compared to traditional brakes. Thanks for participating Alan. |
