Hello, I'm Jon Ross from Long Island, NY. I have interest in aircraft and automotive metal working. I am an experienced aircraft technician, sheet metal worker and aircraft welder. My interest here is in shaping, as many older aircraft I work on have complex aluminum fairings and cowlings. I am hoping to meet others with similar interests.:)

Are you involved with EAA? I have done quite a bit of funky shaping for those guys. Nothing ever the same and their instructions are "something like this" while pointing to a jet fighter.:lol::lol::lol:

Yes I do a lot of work with the EAA folks, particularly TIG welding. I also license the experimental airplanes.
